Rune Rinnan - Founding partner and CEO

Mr Rinnan holds a Masters degree in general management (siviløkonom), with a major in finance, from the Norwegian School of Management. Mr. Rinnan was senior vice president and CFO of ABB Oil & Gas in 1991-93, and held the same position in ABB Signal 1989-91. In 88-89 he was first vice president, head of finance of ABB, Norway. In the period 1986-88 he held an executive position with a Norwegian investment and venture capital group. Prior to that, 1983-86, Mr. Rinnan was Controller in EB Corporation (today ABB). He is the founding partner and has been the CEO of Telenor Venture AS from the start of its operations in 1993. He is also CEO and chairman of TeleVenture Management AS, which manages Telenor Venture AS’, Telenor Venture II ASA’s and Telenor Venture III AS' investments. He is chairman or a board member of several companies within the portfolio of Telenor Venture.
